You’ll have the chance to see the source of all Sichuanese recipes as we peruse ingredients at a locals-only wet market and pop in a few tingly Sichuan peppercorns to learn more about the ma to Sichuan’s la. Get ready to sample guo kui (spiced meat and veggies stuffed in a fresh baked pita-like bread), Chengdu noodles and dumplings, street-side baked breads, and just in case your mouth is screaming for more, a full Sichuan family-style dinner.
