Born in Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, Nyima has decade’s worth of experience leading groups in and around Tibet’s astonishing scenery. Through his extensive experience in the field, Nyima has become an expert in the local culture and religious practices, offering his valuable insight to the inner workings of this beautiful culture.
A 1990 graduate of the Sichuan Tourism School, with a degree in hotel management and guiding, Nyima is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Tibetan. Well-educated, with a true concern for the health and environment of Tibet, Nyima believes in responsible tourism. He demonstrates this belief on all his trips, ensuring that the natural beauty and integrity of this amazing region are upheld.
He routinely organizes trips to Tibetan villages, providing his clients with the perfect chance for interaction with the local Tibetan people. Nyima will show you Tibet like only a native can, with his first-hand knowledge of the most interesting markets, communities, and alleyways.
