Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and the Roots & Shoots program, and she has worked extensively on conservation and animal welfare issues. She has served on the board of the Nonhuman Rights Project. In April 2002, she was named a UN Messenger of Peace. Goodall is an honorary member of the World Future Council.
Dr. Goodall is world known for her exceptionally detailed and long-term research on the chimpanzees of Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania.

Founder and CEO of China House: mission is twofold: to integrate Chinese citizens into the developing world through youth engagement, and to serve as a bridge between overseas Chinese communities and non-Chinese organizations and communities. He is consultant to many international NGOs on China-Africa researches and wildlife conservation projects and works to involve the Chinese community in Africa in elephant conservation projects.
