Dorinda Elliott is the SVP, Director of Programs and Center for Business at the China Institute. Before joining China Institute, she worked as editorial and communications director at the Paulson Institute, which promotes U.S.-China relations and sustainable growth in both countries.
Dorinda Elliott worked as a journalist for over 30 years including a decade living in Hong Kong, traveling and reporting across China. She was Newsweek Bureau Chief in Beijing, Moscow, and Hong Kong, and then later, Asia Editor. She also held positions at Asiaweek as Editor-in-Chief, Time Magazine as Assistant Managing Editor, and Condé Nast Traveler as Global Affairs Editor. Dorinda Elliott also holds a B.A. in East Asian Studies from Harvard University.
